General Information
The Department of Information Technologies fulfills the duties of providing, regulating and disseminating the use of information and communication technologies within the body of Bartın University.
For this purpose, the main tasks can be listed as follows;
• Creating, operating and managing the communication infrastructure (electronic network structure) in our campuses.
• To provide computer maintenance, repair software and usage support to the administrative services of our university.
• To support education, training and research. • To determine and implement the internet usage policies of our university.
• To continue editing and updating the main web pages of our university, to coordinate by providing technical support and infrastructure support to all other units on web pages.
• To provide services such as hosting, domain, ftp and e-mail within the university.
Bartın University has chosen as a principle to make the most use of information technologies in teaching and research.
As a requirement of this principle, all developments are monitored, resources are created and students and faculty members benefit from the latest technologies.
